My work requires a very good eye for details, diligence and careful analysis. I analyse and understand measurements of substances in the atmosphere. Measurements made from ground stations and on flights both from present and past episodes are assessed. Past and present trends and scenarios are studied to be able to project into the future and predict future scenarios. Understanding the interactions of the substances with one another and the atmosphere enables scientist to suggests ways to reduce their amounts in the atmosphere, and hence, reduce their likely effects on human, plants and the environment as a whole

My typical day involves assessing and analysing a lot of data from measurements of substances in the atmosphere. I work with several computer programs and models on daily basis. My day also involves a lot of writings and discussions of findings with fellow scientists and colleagues
