Hi there! I really love my job. I get to meet lots of interesting and clever people, every day is a little bit different and I think I’m doing something good that might one day help the planet. I learn something new everyday. Sometimes it’s really hard but that makes it even better when I solve a problem that I couldn’t do before – that’s a really good feeling! I also get to talk about what I do to lots of people – like doing I’m a Scientist! It’s also really cool to think that I’m (probably) the only person who is doing the work that I’m doing – unless someone else is that I haven’t heard about yet!

I like being a scientist because you get to keep learning about new things (forever!) – most of the time when you do an experiment you have an idea of what the answer will be, but sometimes the answers are surprising and this is how we learn about new processes, someone has to come up with a theory to explain the results!

I love my job because I get to find things out by doing experiments. I also like teaching people about pollution and how we can stop polluting our world.
