        Hi Annie,

        That is a very good question.

        We can all do small things to stop polluting the air, for instance walking or cycling to school or going to the shops for a few items. We can get the train or bus more.         For land pollution in the UK most of the problems are due to previous business uses of the land so there’s probably not much you can do. One thing you can do is make sure you recycle as much as you can – it stops rubbish going into landfill sites which may cause pollution from leachate (a really smelly liquid)
