It depends on the nature of research I am working on. But, on the average, I work for about 7-8 hours per day.

It depends on what I am working on that day, on average I work about 7-8 hours a day, but if I have problems with the machine I use it can be longer…… sometimes I will do some easy work in the evenings like read some exciting new science articles.

      Hi Annie,

It depends on what I’m doing but it’s about 8 hours a day. Sometimes I do more but I love my job so don’t mind doing it.

I normally work about 7-8 hours a day too, from Monday to Friday. Sometimes I get so into what I’m doing in the lab that I lose track of the time and stay much later than I mean to! I might leave early the next day though if I do that to make up for staying late!

I usually work about 8 hours per day, but it really varies – if I am working on a big project and the deadline is approaching sometimes I work quite late at night – it is very easy to get carried away!
