Ooh that’s a good question! I’m not entirely sure what the most brittle plastic is. Some plastics are quite brittle – like polystyrene and polymethyl methacrylate – you might have heard that called Perspex. This things can sometimes shatter when they are hit! Plastics often get more brittle when they get colder – you might have noticed that some recycling bins outside our houses start getting cracked and broken after being left out over winter!
