I haven’t no. When we work in the lab we have to work safely to make sure we don’t hurt ourselves or other people.

Hi there. Not on purpose! I’m always very careful in my lab but sometimes things do go a bit wrong…

One of the very first experiments I did was having to heat up two chemicals in a liquid to 180 degrees. Lots of solid formed that made it stop stirring and that kind of exploded all over everywhere I work. There were no flames or anything though. It just covered everything and I had to spend hours cleaning. It was really dark brown so where I work it still a bit of a funny colour… ?

        Hey 282cmte48,

No, luckily I’ve never made an explosion! ? ? You have to be very careful in the laboratory when you are working with things that might explode. But we would always wear safety goggles and a lab coat just in case!
